This cute little gecko looks like he’s about to climb off the dishcloth. He’s crawling down the cloth, but he looks good no matter which way he faces.
The design is not symmetrical so adjustments may need to be made for lefty knitters depending upon their knitting style, and if it matters which way his head is angled and his tail curls.
The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.

Love this Gecko. I joined the KAL every week at first for therapy for my arms, hands and fingers in recovering from neuropathy after chemo treatments. Continued on with it as I live the designs and ease of the patterns. They are fun and creative to do. A few minutes a day and by the end on the week you have a dishcloth to use or gift. All the patterns are consistent in size. Highly recommend Emily and her knitting designs!
