Love Knit Dishcloth Pattern

This knit dishcloth design is the word LOVE surrounded by four hearts – one in each corner.

The design is not symmetrical and contains letters so lefty knitters will need to take care depending upon their knitting style.

The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.

Knitting Information: This square casts on 38 stitches and is 57 rows tall.

Suggested Yarns:
To make dishcloths: 100% Cotton yarn such as Sugar ‘n Cream, Peaches ‘n Cream, Bernat Handicrafter, or Lionbrand Cotton.

To make afghan squares: Any worsted weight yarn.

Size 6 US (4mm) or size to obtain gauge
