Quail or Partridge Knit Dishcloth Pattern

(1 customer review)

$2.99

This cute little bird looks ready to scurry away! This knit dishcloth pattern is a picture of a quail in profile facing to the right. He has the distinctive curl of feather on top of his head that quails are known for. Quails are very similar to partridges and this pattern does double duty! If you wish to knit a picture of a partridge, simply leave the feather out of the design.

**All purchases are for a downloadable PDF file of the knitting pattern and not for the actual dishcloth.**

The design is not symmetrical so adjustments may need to be made for lefty knitters.

The picture is created in garter stitch on a stockinette background. The border is seed stitch, but the pattern is written so that you may substitute a preferred border if you wish.

I live in Arizona and there are a lot of quail around. They are so fun to watch! When I saw the pattern I had to have it!!
The two page pattern is the one to follow. The condensed version of the pattern is the one I first followed and there is a mistake somewhere as it didn’t turn out.
